Our youth ministry is an intentional and organized effort to guide and nurture adolescents and young adults in their spiritual growth, moral development, and overall discipleship.

Jonesboro First United Methodist Church has stood as a light on the corner for generations, faithfully serving God and our community. Our Youth Ministry carries that legacy forward by igniting faith, nurturing growth, and walking alongside our young people as they learn to follow the teachings and guidance of Jesus Christ.

As our youth grow in their faith and discover their God-given gifts, our church grows alongside them. We are continually inspired by their curiosity, creativity, and bold vision for the future. Their questions deepen our understanding, their energy renews our spirit, and their compassion challenges us to love more fully.

Our youth bring joy, hope, and light into every part of our church and community. Through worship, service, fellowship, and learning, they are planting seeds of faith that will continue to flourish for generations to come. We celebrate their walk with Christ, the roots they are putting down today, and the paths they are preparing for those who will follow.

Together, we trust God is shaping them—not only as the future of the church, but as faithful leaders, servants, and disciples right now.

Weekly Schedule Sunday - Youth Worship—12:30 (Youth House) We invite you to join us in the Youth House every Sunday afternoon during the school year for Youth Worship! Come relax, hang out, and enjoy a meal starting at noon, which leads us to our worship service at 12:30 PM.

Wednesday—Bible Study - 5:45 PM via Zoom

1 Timothy 4:12 exhorts, “Let no one despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”

Welcome to the Teens Teach Technology series of workshops! Our seminars are designed especially for seniors eager to explore and embrace the world of technology. We are delighted to have you join us on this exciting journey led by our Youth!

Our focus is on assisting rather than just covering every topic or detail in the training. Our goal is to foster an environment where you feel comfortable learning at your own pace.

Whether you are here to stay connected with loved ones on social media or become more familiar with your smartphone and the benefits it can provide, our youth are here to support you every step of the way!
